No secret meeting between Raj and Gadkari, BJP says

MUMBAI: Ashish Shelar, the city BJP chief, rubbished the reports of a secret meeting between former party president Nitin Gadkariand Maharashtra Navnirman Sena president Raj Thackeray at a five-star hotel here on Monday. 

"Let me put to rest the irresponsible speculation. No secret meetings happening between BJP and MNS," Shelar said on twitter. 

Some Marathi news-channels, on Monday morning, reported that Gadkari and Thackeray, who are known to enjoy good rapport, were in a secret meeting at a five-star hotel, where Shelar too was present. 

Last month Gadkari attended the ground-breaking ceremony of Goda Park, a riverbank beautification project of Nashik Municipal Corporation where MNS is in power with BJP's support.
